We didn't start as friends. We didn't have fancy degrees or any experience in film.

We began as a bunch of kids playing bullies in a high school short film. Shawn had the opportunity to hit the lead role in the back of the head with a rubber band, and Nate beat him up in the bathroom later. What started as a fun one-off experience gave us both a taste for film.

After a couple of years with no contact and a stroke of luck, we both landed jobs working for different churches as their respective Media Directors. 

With no idea what to do, we came together, and learned the art of storytelling through film. After years of collaborating, learning, performing, and perfecting, we built Cinemonkey Studios!
